Psychedelic culture in the sixties had brought us the opportunity
to think about the relationship between human and nature. We learned that
we would be happier by living with nature and the other human beings as
well rather than conquering them. The negative aspects have marred the
impression of the psychedelic culture in the aftermath. But now it is worth
to make it revive in order to bless the theme, ‘sustainable cosmopolis’
since the culture can be shared by wide generations and it naturally retains
the positive energy acting on our senses. Design: We chose four patterns to cover four panels in order to create the feelings that there is something beyond the solid steel panels. The patterns are simple and slightly hallucinating. The outside of three corrugated panels (three sides except the door side) and the roof panel will be decorated mainly with spray painting and image cutouts (sticky back plastic sheet). The area that does not have graphics (structural parts and doors) will be cleaned and be kept intact in order to exhibit the history of the container itself. |
